A stone castle-style residence on Warm Springs Ridge above Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, built for Colonel Samuel Taylor Suit - a Maryland legislator and whiskey magnate - beginning in the mid-1880s and known locally as 'the Castle' since 1888, the year Suit died. It was completed for his widow, Rosa. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

- Reported · Local legend (framed as legend, not fact) holds that two of Rosa's suitors died mysteriously - one reportedly pushed from the roof, another impaled on an umbrella on the grand staircase.
