The record
A four-story Queen Anne sandstone mansion of more than twenty rooms in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, built 1881-1883 by the architectural firm Cudell & Richardson for German immigrant banker Hannes Tiedemann. Franklin Boulevard was one of Cleveland's most prestigious residential avenues at the time. On the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #82004417, 1982), it is widely called the most haunted house in Ohio. It was damaged by an arson fire around 1999 and has passed through several restorations since.
