The record

Land agent Lemuel Punderson, one of the area's first settlers, developed the site in the early 1800s. A sprawling 1920s English Tudor-style mansion, originally built as a private home, in Ohio's Punderson State Park (Geauga County). Owned by the State of Ohio since the 1950s, it opened as a lodge in 1966 and, after a late-1970s renovation, has operated as a state park lodge since 1983.
