The record
A Beaux-Arts / French Renaissance grand hotel in downtown Louisville, opened May 1, 1905 by Bavarian-born immigrant brothers Louis and Otto Seelbach. Long considered one of Kentucky's grandest hotels, it is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP #75000775, 1975) and operates today as the Seelbach Hilton.
